2017 Face for Radio Award

Congratulations Jason, KC5HWB. After the Post Ham-Com DMR dinner that we had, in honor of all the contributions you have given to the Texas DMR community, Noel, KF5SLK, presented you with the first annual Face for Radio award. Your contributions have directly affected the growth of DMR in the State of Texas.

Without the time, energy, money, and resources you have both volunteered and worked to make a living at, none of this would be possible. You have earned it.

Your work has allowed DMR  to become more than just a cool idea, that would be limited to a small few in only a few areas, and opened it up to the masses. So here is too you again. Thank you for all the work you have done for the benefit of others and for the benefit of Amateur Radio in general.

Seeking Contributors and Contributions

This site is pretty young, as in less than two months old. A lot of information has been added, but we would still like to have community contributions or even those that would like to be a regular contributor.

I am trying to make this a community website, usable by anyone that would benefit from what we have here. If you are interested, please feel free to reach out to us (Chris & Jason) and let us know.

You can get us using the new Contact page.

Welcome to the New DMR Texas Website

The goal of this website is to provide a central location for all things DMR in the Lonestar state. This ranges from up-to-date repeater listings, to training (currently in the works), to any other information you might want.

Right now, it is a two man show populating all of the data, but if you are interested in contributing, please let either Jason, KC5HWB, or Chris, KD5HIY know and we will be happy to get you started.

Give us a little time, and we hope to make something just short of amazing here.
